Lux Aeterna Prologue

We've been at war with the Vihae for as long as I can remember. Who are they, you ask? The Vihae are a vile race of darkness. All they know is hate and destruction. They raid our cities, pillage our towns, kill all that they can. They're a plague on this world. No one knows where they came from, what exactly they are, why they kill, how many of them there are. No one truly knows a thing about them, and that's one of the most terrifying things about them. They're a monstrous race that knows nothing except war. I don't even think they have civilians. It's almost like all of their resources are being put into the war effort. I wish we had the power to do that. Us Gaians have been doing our best to fend these Vihae off, but we can only do so much. Many of us have already lost hope. If there's anyone else out there in this universe, I can only pray that the Vihae will leave them alone. The Gaian military is composed of billions of people, and has technology and magic that people wouldn't believe, and we still lose battles. I'm not sure if our equipment still needs to be better, or if the people using it need to get better. Whatever the case, if we don't do anything soon, we're gonna lose this war.
